“I Slimmed Down”—A Cosplayer’s Effort to Recreate Slender Miriella from 2.5 Dimensional Seduction

——What aspects did you put particular effort into with your cosplay this time?

Tsukuyomi: Miriella is a slender character with a slim waist, so I worked hard to slim down as much as possible and get my figure close to hers in preparation for Comiket.

Also, in terms of the costume, I had a specific vision for the fluffy-shaped wings depicted in the original, so I repurchased them separately. To match the skirt length exactly as in the original, I even cut and resewed it to get as close as possible to the real Miriella. I really tried to pay attention to these details!

——Could you tell us what first drew you to 2.5 Dimensional Seduction, as well as what aspects you find especially appealing?

Tsukuyomi: I love manga where cosplay appears as part of the story, and when I was searching for something new to read, I discovered 2.5 Dimensional Seduction. I decided to try it out, and I got hooked instantly! (laughs)

What I find appealing about this work are its passionate coming-of-age stories depicted through club activities, and of course, the charmingly designed cosplay outfits that the characters wear.

Tsukuyomi: I really love the game Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, so I’d like to continue cosplaying many of its characters! I’m also planning to attend both days of this year’s Winter Comiket.
