Episode 23: "The Second Wave"
[Synopsis]
The Defense Force, struggling to subdue simultaneously appearing super-giant kaiju, is saved by a powerful strike from Mina, unleashed from a distant horizon. Just as reports of improved battle conditions begin to come in from across the country, five identified kaiju appear before the main core members, including Narumi and Mina! As the situation worsens once again, Kafka, who had been ordered to stand by in preparation for a battle with Kaiju No. 9, now faces a critical decision.
