The synopsis, web preview, and an emotional poster for Episode 1 of the anime "This Monster Wants to Eat Me" have been unveiled.

This work is based on the manga by Sai Naekawa, currently serialized in Dengeki Maoh. The story beautifully yet poignantly depicts the encounter between a young girl and a monster.

"I've come to eat you." Shiori Oumi (CV: Yui Ishikawa), a mermaid girl who suddenly appears, gently takes the hand of Hinako Yaotose (CV: Reina Ueda), who lives alone in a seaside town, and speaks to her. Hinako's flesh is said to have an exceptionally delicious taste. So much so, that it attracts countless monsters...
