It has been announced that Season 2 of the TV anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" will begin airing every Friday at 11:00 p.m. starting January 16, 2026, nationwide on 30 NTV-affiliated stations in the "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT" slot. Animation production will continue to be handled by Madhouse.

Along with this announcement, the key visual for Season 2 has also been unveiled. The visual depicts Frieren, Fern, and Stark floating in a space surrounded by crystal-like objects, presenting a new situation not seen in Season 1. In addition to the staff members revealed in July, new main staff members have also been announced.

Furthermore, as part of the special project "Travel Memories," which divides Season 1 into five chapters for theatrical screenings, Chapter 2: "Aura of the Guillotine Arc" will be screened at nine theaters nationwide on October 11 (Saturday). At the screening held at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku, there will be a stage greeting featuring Ayana Taketatsu, who voices the powerful demon Aura. Despite Aura’s brief three-episode appearance in Season 1, she left a significant impression, and this event offers a rare opportunity for Taketatsu to speak about her character.

"Travel Memories" will start with Chapter 1: "Departure Arc" screened on September 26 (Friday) and 27 (Saturday), with all five chapters being released sequentially through November 29 (Saturday). Pre-reserved tickets for the October 11 (Saturday) screening of Chapter 2 with a stage greeting will be available on Ticket Pia from 7:30 p.m. on September 26 (Friday).
