“What Did You Do Over the Three-Day Weekend?” Chiaki Kobayashi Digs Himself a Hole, Hiroki Yasumoto Mercilessly Grills Him with “Where’s the Souvenir?” Hilarity Ensues for Viewers

On ABEMA, episode #18 of the “Say You To Yo Asobi” Monday show on the Anime LIVE Channel aired on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. JST. This time, the show left the usual studio setting for a public live recording at Tokyo Culture Culture in Shibuya, Tokyo. The program featured a renewed challenge of the “Survey Hit The Target Exciting Gunshot Shooting,” which was previously held during episode #5 on May 26, 2025. Various projects unfolded based on the results of viewer surveys.

For the main segment, the hosts had to predict and rearrange four answer choices to the viewer survey in order of popularity. If even one selection matched the viewers’ ranking, they earned a point. Depending on the points earned, they participated in a shooting game on stage, and whichever target was hit, the corresponding audience member received an autographed colored card.

The first survey question was, “What did you do over the three-day weekend?” When Hiroki Yasumoto asked, “Chiaki, what did you do?” Chiaki Kobayashi replied, “I only had two days off, so I spontaneously took a trip to Mie. I’m working on a project set in Mie right now, and it piqued my interest. I wanted to visit related locations before the show finishes airing.” Upon hearing this, Yasumoto pressed him, “Wait, you went to Mie? Where’s the souvenir?” Kobayashi tried to make excuses, saying, “Akafuku has an expiration date, so…” Yasumoto then followed up, “It’s fine, isn’t it? It’s pretty nice you managed to find some time to actually go there, considering how busy you are.”
