"BLUE LOCK" TV Anime Sequel Announced & Live-Action Film Adaptation Confirmed! Worldwide Comic Circulation Surpasses 50 Million Copies

The popular soccer manga "BLUE LOCK," which has surpassed 50 million copies in circulation worldwide, will be getting a TV anime sequel and a live-action film adaptation.

The TV series began with its first season from 2022 to 2023, followed by the second season "BLUE LOCK VS. U-20 JAPAN" airing in 2024. At the "BLUE LOCK Egoist Festa 2025" held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, the production of the anime's sequel was officially announced. Comments have also arrived from original story writer Muneyuki Kaneshiro and manga artist Yusuke Nomura.
