"Lost 4 Kilograms Through Dieting" — Careful Body Sculpting Shines in This ‘Guilty Crown’ Inori Yuzuriha Cosplay

——What made you want to cosplay as Inori Yuzuriha from "Guilty Crown" this time?

Marin: I had originally planned to do this cosplay at an event someday, but since "Guilty Crown" is over 10 years old, I wanted to do it at Comiket, where people of all generations gather. Additionally, the design of the costume made it perfect for this summer event, since it’s held during hot weather.

——What did you want to express with this cosplay?

Marin: This costume clearly shows the body’s silhouette, so I focused the most on shaping my body to resemble the character. I lost about 4 kilograms through dieting and also went to esthetic treatments to refine my body lines.

Actually, I used to be quite overweight in the past, but succeeded in losing about 25 kilograms two years ago. Back then, I also worked hard for my dreams, and now body sculpting has become one of my hobbies (laughs).

For the details of this cosplay, I referenced redjuice’s character illustrations when thinking about my nails, and since Inori has pink hair, I used not only black false eyelashes but also pink ones on the outer corners of my eyes.

As for posing, I paid close attention to my expressions and fingertips to convey Inori Yuzuriha’s unique sense of transience and beauty.
