The anime Umamusume: Cinderella Gray is based on the manga written by Taiyo Kuzumi, scripted by Masafumi Sugiura, and planned/structured by Junnosuke Ito (based on the original work by Cygames). It is a manga adaptation featuring Oguri Cap, who appears in the cross-media content Umamusume: Pretty Derby, as the protagonist. The series has surpassed 8 million copies in total circulation.
