‘The Summer Hikaru Died’ (abbreviated as "Hikanatsu") is originally a youth horror manga by Mokumokuren, currently serialized on the manga site 'Young Ace UP' (KADOKAWA). The story is a chilling blend of youthful unease and horror.

The series follows an ordinary high school boy, Yoshiki, as he experiences various mysterious incidents surrounding him while living with a mysterious "something" that mimics his childhood friend, Hikaru.
