Kazushige Sanda Waits for a Confession... Anime "SANDA" Episode 1 Synopsis & Preview Cuts Released

The synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 1 of the anime "SANDA" have been released. In addition, an official interview with Ayumu Murase, who voices the protagonist Kazushige Sanda, and Hiroki Tōchi, who plays Santa Claus, has arrived.

The original work is by Paru Itagaki, who garnered multiple major manga awards, including the Grand Prize at the "Manga Taisho 2018," for "BEASTARS."

Set in a near-future Japan facing an era of declining birthrates, Santa Claus, who once gave children dreams and hope, is now considered a dangerous figure. Kazushige Sanda (voiced by Ayumu Murase), a junior high school student and a descendant of Santa Claus, decides to become Santa Claus and fight against adults in order to protect the children. This is a Santa Claus hero action series depicting the bonds between adults and children.
