Preview stills and the synopsis for episode 1 of the anime "My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON" have been released.

The immensely popular manga "My Hero Academia" by Kohei Horikoshi, which was serialized for ten years in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha) and finally concluded in August of last year, is commonly known as "HeroAca." Set in a world where the existence of people with superpowers called "Quirks" is the norm, the story is a hero action series following protagonist Izuku Midoriya (voiced by Daiki Yamashita), also known as "Deku," as he strives to become a "hero" who protects society and faces off against criminals who abuse their Quirks, known as "villains." Along with his friends at the prestigious U.A. High School—a top institution for hero training—Deku's journey of growth unfolds.

The comic series has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation worldwide. Fans around the world who have witnessed thrilling dramas and battles involving Deku and the other characters continue to express gratitude and high praise for Horikoshi and "HeroAca."

Now, at last, the final chapter of the TV anime series, "My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON" (animated by Bones), will begin broadcasting nationally across 29 Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV network stations every Saturday at 5:30 p.m. starting October 4 (excluding certain regions). Since the first season aired in April 2016, the TV anime "HeroAca" has been broadcast and streamed over approximately nine years and seven seasons, and will reach its conclusion with this season.
