It has been announced that the manga "Kindergarten WARS," currently being serialized on "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha), will receive a TV anime adaptation. Atsumi Tanezaki will play the role of Rita, and Kentaro Kumagai will play the role of Doug. Additionally, a celebratory comment and illustration from the original author, You Chiba, have been released.

This work is based on the manga "Kindergarten WARS" by You Chiba, currently serialized in "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha). Rita works at Black Kindergarten, where the children of the world’s most influential figures attend. Although she is looking for a boyfriend, she hasn’t had any romantic encounters—until she gets tangled up with an ultra-handsome hitman targeting the children. Thus begins the world’s “safest” action-romantic comedy.

The released illustration features Rita and Doug. Author Chiba exploded with joy, saying, “The anime adaptation! I can finally say it! I’m so happy!” and expressed gratitude to the fans.

Atsumi Tanezaki, who will play Rita, shared an enthusiastic comment: “I’ll do my absolute best to make this the most entertaining anime ever! I can’t wait to meet lots of handsome guys!” Kentaro Kumagai, who will play Doug, also expressed his excitement, mentioning the unique teachers and dynamic action: “I can’t wait to see what it’ll look like animated! I’ll do my utmost!”
