A completely new TV anime, "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance," from the "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha" series has been confirmed for broadcast in 2026. The first key visual and teaser video have been unveiled.
"Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance" is the latest installment in the "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha" series, which began in 2004.
Originally, the series started as a spin-off from the bishoujo romance game "Triangle Heart 3 ~Sweet Songs Forever~," released by ivory in 2000. It gradually gained immense popularity, becoming a monumental work in the magical girl genre alongside "Cardcaptor Sakura" and "Puella Magi Madoka Magica."
The visual depicts a lone girl standing in a ruined city, gazing intently at something. She holds a gun in her hand, and behind her lies some sort of corpse... The special preview video features the voice of series protagonist Nanoha Takamachi, along with a “girl's voice” declaring, “I will live in this world. So that the hands we've joined will never part.” Her words convey a powerful resolve.
