All Main Cast Members of Team Zombie Land Saga Gather! Galaxy Premiere Completion Screening Report for the Movie "Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise"

The Galaxy Premiere Completion Screening for the theatrical movie "Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise," scheduled for nationwide release on Friday, October 24, was held at Shinjuku Wald 9 on Sunday, September 28.

"Zombie Land Saga" is an original TV anime in the "new wave zombie idol" genre, where seven girls resurrected as zombies by the mysterious idol producer Kōtarō Tatsumi strive to save Saga Prefecture by performing as the local idol group, Franchouchou.

Since its first season aired in October 2018, its innovative storyline and impactful music drew the attention of many anime fans and earned it numerous anime awards. The second season aired in April 2021, sparking fresh discussions. Now, anticipation is at its peak for the first feature film, "Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise," set to premiere on October 24, 2025.

The completion screening was attended by the entire main cast: Mamoru Miyano as Kōtarō Tatsumi, Kaede Hondo as Sakura Minamoto, Asami Tano as Saki Nikaidō, Risa Taneda as Ai Mizuno, Maki Kawase as Junko Konno, Rika Kinugawa as Yūgiri, Minami Tanaka as Lily Hoshikawa, and Kotono Mitsuishi as Tae Yamada.

With all the Franchouchou members, including Mitsuishi and Miyano, gathered together for the first time, the packed venue reached maximum excitement as soon as the cast was introduced. The event began with thunderous applause and cheers, and the cast’s character-themed greetings further energized the audience, making this a stage greeting where the performers and the audience were united as one.

As the atmosphere was about to explode from excitement over the film’s four-year production, Hondo exclaimed, "I can feel all the fans’ energy!" She continued emotionally, "It's a miracle that we can stand on stage together with this line-up!" Miyano, fully in character as Kōtarō Tatsumi, thanked the fans who filled every seat, calling them "Legendary audience!"

When a cheer of "It's awesome!" rose regarding the film's quality, Tanaka joyfully replied, "I'm so happy! I feel like I could cry!" Kawase reminded everyone, "No spoilers for the month leading up to the theatrical release!" To this, Miyano joked, "Well, it’s okay if you say it! As long as it's fun, it's fine!" generating laughter in the venue.

Reiterating his thoughts, Miyano said, "I myself hadn’t participated in events before, and even recording was done separately. Is this the first time we've gathered since the season one wrap-up party? It’s really been that long, so I'm thrilled we could get together." Regarding the movie, he confidently declared, "I was truly moved! With four years of planning, you can really feel the intricate story and the powerful visuals."

Next, seven folding chairs, unusual for a stage greeting, were brought onto the stage, replicating the underground room of the Western-style mansion in the story where Franchouchou lives. The voice actors then held a "Zombie Land Saga" Western Mansion Basement Recreation Talk Session, each sitting in their designated spot.

Miyano, as Kōtarō Tatsumi, asked, "How big of a hit do you want this movie to be?" Hondo replied, "As big as Shohei Ohtani’s international fame!" Kawase revealed, "I can drive! I have a license!" prompting Miyano to respond, "That's the perfect kind of spoiler!" Taneda, raising expectations for the movie, said, "The number of lasers coming from my fingers has increased from one to five! I can’t say much, but..." intriguing the audience.
