Starting with episode 39 of the TV anime SPY x FAMILY, airing at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, the “Loid’s Past Arc,” which depicts Loid’s past, will begin. In advance of the broadcast, a new promotional video (PV) has been released.

SPY x FAMILY is based on the popular spy action manga by Tatsuya Endo, currently serialized in Shonen Jump+. The story follows the skilled spy “Twilight,” who assumes the identity of psychiatrist Loid Forger and lives as a “temporary family” with Anya, a girl with telepathic powers, and Yor, an assassin. TV anime Season 3 is airing every Saturday at 11:00 p.m. from October 6 on TV Tokyo and related stations. ABEMA offers free streaming immediately following the broadcast.

In the “Loid’s Past Arc” airing this time, Loid’s childhood will be portrayed, finally revealing why the boy became “Twilight.” The released PV features scenes from Loid’s past and includes “Hi wo Mamoru” by Spitz, the band performing the opening theme song.
