A Shocking Order on a Senior’s Treat! Kawaguchi’s Brazen Attitude Gets Roasted: “No Way That’s Okay, lol” “At Least Show Some Restraint, lol” – Episode 1 of the Anime "Nohara Hiroshi Hirumeshi no Ryūgi"

The new anime "Nohara Hiroshi Hirumeshi no Ryūgi", which began airing on October 3, features Hiroshi Nohara (voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa) treating his junior, Kawaguchi (voiced by Takuya Masumoto), to lunch. When Kawaguchi begins to order without worrying about the price, viewers flooded the show with comments like, “At least show some restraint, lol” and “Kawaguchi just won’t stop, lol.”

In the first episode, Kawaguchi reports to Hiroshi that he has successfully landed a contract at work. Afterwards, Kawaguchi hints at wanting to celebrate by having Hiroshi treat him to lunch, saying things like, “It’ll be lunchtime soon—,” “I’m really glad I got the contract—,” and “I’m getting hungry—,” while sending him eager looks.

Reluctantly, Hiroshi takes Kawaguchi to a seafood bowl restaurant and recommends the 500-yen tuna bowl. However, while Hiroshi orders the tuna bowl, Kawaguchi orders the 1,000-yen seafood bowl without hesitation. On top of that, he changes his miso soup to a special fish bone soup for an additional cost. As Hiroshi bristles internally, thinking, “Does someone really order something more expensive than their senior is paying for? Should I give him a long lecture until the seafood bowl goes stale?”—unfazed, Kawaguchi then adds dessert to his order and even asks Hiroshi, “Would you like to order one too, senpai?”
