Shiki and the Others Are Detected by Momotaro's Surveillance Network... Anime "Tougen Anki" Episode 14 Synopsis & Preview Stills Released

The synopsis and preview stills for Episode 14 of the anime "Tougen Anki" have been released.

"Tougen Anki" is based on the popular manga by Yura Urushibara, currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten), with total series sales exceeding 4 million copies. The story draws on the familiar Japanese folktale "Momotaro," depicting the conflict between those who inherit the blood of demons and those who inherit the blood of Momotaro.

Shiki Ichinose (voiced by Kazuki Ura), a boy living an ordinary human life, is suddenly attacked one day by a mysterious man from the "Momotaro Agency." While escaping with his adoptive father, he learns that their pursuers are descendants of the legendary Momotaro, and that he himself carries the blood of the Oni. This is a story of modern-day descendants of Momotaro and Oni, which differs greatly from the old tale of "once upon a time, there were an old man and an old woman..."
