The synopsis, web preview, and emotional poster for episode 2 of the anime “This Monster Wants to Eat Me” have been revealed.

This work is based on the manga by Sai Naekawa, currently serialized in “Dengeki Maoh.” It depicts a beautiful yet heartrending encounter between a girl and a youkai.

“I have come to eat you.” The mermaid girl Shiori Oumi (voiced by Yui Ishikawa) suddenly appears, gently takes the hand of Hinako Yaotose (voiced by Reina Ueda), who lives alone in a seaside town, and speaks softly to her. Hinako’s flesh and blood are said to be especially delicious—so much so that they attract countless youkai...
