Hiroshi Kamiya Appears in the "Next Episode Preview"! Anime Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider Episode 2 Web Preview & Scene Cuts Released

From the TV anime Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider, the web preview video and scene cuts for Episode 2, titled "I Am Tackle," have been released. The preview narration is provided by voice actor Hiroshi Kamiya, who is also known as a tokusatsu fan.

The series is based on the manga by Yokusaru Shibata (with cooperation from Ishimori Production and Toei), known for Air Master and 81 Diver. It tells the story of the protagonist, Tanzaburo Tojima (voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi), a man who, even at age 40, is seriously aiming to become a "Kamen Rider." He gets caught up in the "fake Shocker" robbery incidents that are creating a stir in society. The broadcast began on October 4th on TOKYO MX and other channels, with ABEMA providing the fastest concurrent terrestrial broadcast streaming.

The web preview released this time is a special version featuring exclusive narration, unlike the previews used during the TV broadcast or streaming. It features the latest footage coupled with newly recorded narration by Hiroshi Kamiya. The preview is crafted to evoke the style of the "Next Episode" previews from the original Kamen Rider series, which aired in the 1970s, and Kamiya is set to narrate all future episode previews as well. Furthermore, a photo of Kamiya wearing a Kamen Rider No. 1 mask during the recording session has also been released.

Additionally, to commemorate the broadcast of Episode 2, a newly drawn support illustration by the original manga artist, Yokusaru Shibata, has also been released. The illustration depicts the character "Tackle," who makes her full-fledged appearance in this episode.
