"Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" is the latest installment in the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series, which has been ongoing since 1979. It tells the story of Amate Yuzuriha, a high school girl living peacefully in a space colony, who gets caught up in the illegal mobile suit combat competition "Clan Battle" after meeting a girl named Nyaan.

The collaborative production between Studio Khara, known for the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series, and Sunrise garnered attention. The theatrical preview released in January this year was a massive hit, grossing approximately 3.4 billion yen. It is being re-screened in 368 theaters nationwide from June 20th, and a special event is being held at North America's largest anime event, "Anime Expo 2025," further boosting its popularity both domestically and internationally.
