Anime 'SPY x FAMILY' Season 3 Non-Credit Ending Sequence & Loid's Past Arc Visual Revealed!

The "Loid's Past Arc" began airing in Season 3 of the anime 'SPY x FAMILY'. The non-credit ending sequence and the visual for Loid's Past Arc have been released.

The anime 'SPY x FAMILY' is based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo, currently serialized in "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha). It is a spy action comedy where Loid Forger, a master spy disguised as a psychiatrist for a top-secret mission, lives with his assassin wife Yor Forger and his psychic daughter Anya Forger as a "fake family," concealing their true identities from one another. The TV anime began broadcasting in 2022, and "SPY x FAMILY CODE: White," released in December 2023, surpassed 6.32 billion yen in box office revenue.

The arc depicting Loid's childhood, "Loid's Past Arc," began broadcasting on Saturday, October 11th, at 11:00 PM. To commemorate the first broadcast of the ending sequence in Episode 2, the non-credit ending sequence has been made public.

The song is "Actor" by Lilas Ikuta, who enjoys tremendous support primarily among young people. The opening humming sequence depicts Loid innocently playing with his friends in his childhood. As Lilas Ikuta singing begins, the video transitions to Loid waking from a dream and spending peaceful everyday life with the Forger family, creating an emotional and heartfelt sequence. The ending theme song "Actor" has begun digital distribution, and the CD single will be released on Wednesday, October 29th.

Furthermore, coinciding with the start of the "Loid's Past Arc" broadcast, the Loid's Past Arc visual has been unveiled. Standing beneath a red sky that could be interpreted as either a sunset or a war-torn sky, the gaze of <Twilight> falls upon his childhood self crouching amidst the rubble of a city destroyed by war. The visual, which clearly depicts Loid's origins, suggests the spy <Twilight>'s resolute determination to create a "world where children do not cry."

The "Loid's Past Arc" will reach its climax next week, beginning broadcast on Saturday, October 18th, at 11:15 PM on TV Tokyo and affiliated networks.
