"Shiki Being Shy Around Doctor and Researcher Mary Aki" Takes 1st Place! Anime "Tougen Anki" Episode 13 Top 3 Most-Commented Scenes

ABEMA Anime's official X account has announced the Top 3 most-commented scenes from the broadcast of "Tougen Anki" Episode 13 "Mikado at the Gate of God."

"Tougen Anki" is a manga series by Yura Urushibara serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten) since 2020. Based on the folktale "Momotaro" that every Japanese person knows, it is a new generation dark hero oni tale that depicts the conflict between those with oni blood and those with Momotaro's blood from the oni's perspective.

The profound story woven by the descendants of oni and Momotaro has gained popularity, with the comic series surpassing a cumulative total of 3 million copies. The first TV anime broadcast began in July 2025. In addition to Kazuki Ura playing the protagonist Shiki Ichinose, a splendid voice actor cast including Hiroshi Kamiya, Kōtarō Nishiyama, and Manaka Iwami have joined, gathering even more attention for this long-awaited TV anime adaptation.

ABEMA conducted an independent survey of scenes that gathered the most comments from viewers during the broadcast of "Tougen Anki" Episode 13 "Mikado at the Gate of God" aired late night on Friday, October 3rd. The results have been released on ABEMA Anime's official X as "Tougen Anki Episode 13 Top 3 Most-Commented Scenes."
