"A Wild Last Boss Appeared! " is based on a popular light novel series that has surpassed a cumulative total of 1.4 million copies, originally published on the novel submission website "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" and currently being published by "Earth Star Novel," with the original work by Firehead and illustrations by YahaKo.
The story depicts a "possession reincarnation dark fantasy" that begins when Lufas Maphaahl (CV: Ami Koshimizu), who was feared by people as the "Black-Winged Overlord" and sealed away after a final battle with the hero, is summoned 200 years later as a hero to oppose the demon race.
