Overwhelming Response to the Newly Drawn Illustration of My Hero Academia's Global Popularity Poll Top 10: "Love that the Family is Grouped Together"

On October 15th, the official My Hero Academia X account released a newly drawn illustration featuring the characters who ranked in the top 10 of the worldwide popularity poll, "WORLD BEST HERO," garnering a tremendous reaction from fans.

'My Hero Academia' is a hugely popular comic series by Kohei Horikoshi that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump," with the series surpassing 100 million copies in worldwide cumulative circulation. It depicts the friendship and growth of young heroes and villains as they clash in a world where nearly everyone possesses special abilities called "Quirks." The TV anime's Final Season is currently on broadcast.

The worldwide popularity poll, "WORLD BEST HERO," was conducted in 2024, and the release of the Top 10 character illustration, newly drawn by the author, Horikoshi, had been announced for Fall 2025. Following the long-awaited reveal of this illustration, fans expressed their delight with comments such as "The visuals are too good," and "As expected, Horikoshi-sensei's art is genuinely cool...."

In addition to comments on the characters' arrangement, such as "Love that the Endeavor Family is grouped together," and "Nothing but thanks to the Todoroki family," there was also surprise at the unexpected rankings from those who seemed to be learning the results for the first time through the illustration, with remarks like "All Might isn't there?" and "Toga-chan isn't even in it!?"
