The anime "Kingdom" is based on the immensely popular manga by Yasuhisa Hara, which has surpassed 120 million copies in total circulation. It is an epic historical romance set in China during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period, depicting the exploits of Shin, a young boy who aims to become a great general of the land, and Ei Sei, the young king who would later become the First Emperor. The TV anime began broadcasting its first series in 2012, and the fourth live-action film installment, "Kingdom: The Return of the Great General," released in 2024, recorded box office revenues of 8 billion yen.

【Synopsis】
The Qin army attempts to advance its conquest of the State of Zhao by making Koku Yō their new base. However, due to Ri Boku's strategy, the battle becomes unavoidably prolonged. Wanting to avoid this, the army's commander-in-chief Shou Hei Kun aims for a breakthrough with a "bold and unconventional strategy."
Meanwhile, Left Chancellor Shou Bun Kun, having heard Ei Sei's words about "creating a nation governed by law after the unification of China," secretly visits Ri Shi, a Legalist with whom he had been in conflict, to seek cooperation.
