"My Emotions Are Shot!" Fans Thrilled by My Hero Academia Author's "Kacchan's Comeback" Illustration!

On October 18th, My Hero Academia author Kohei Horikoshi posted an illustration of Katsuki Bakugo on his X account, which generated huge excitement among fans.

'My Hero Academia' is a highly popular comic series by Kohei Horikoshi that was serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Jump," with the series surpassing 100 million copies in worldwide cumulative circulation. It depicts the friendship and growth of young heroes and villains as they clash in a world where nearly everyone possesses special abilities called "Quirks." The TV anime's Final Season is currently on broadcast.

The post was made approximately 30 minutes before the broadcast of anime Episode 162. With the caption "Fukkacchan! It starts at 5:30 PM! Must-see!", the author promoted the comeback of Kacchan, a nickname for Katsuki Bakugo, along with the illustration.

As Bakugo is a popular character who took first place in the worldwide popularity poll "WORLD BEST HERO" held in 2024, fans expressed their delight with comments such as "Thank you so much for bringing Kacchan into this world," "This is the best! My emotions are shot!" and "Kacchan is here—!!!"
