"Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle" is based on a novel that achieved first place in "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!" for two consecutive years and was inducted into its hall of fame. It is a coming-of-age ensemble drama that begins when Saku Chitose (CV. Shōgo Sakata), a high school student with high-level abilities in academics, sports, and communication skills, is asked to help rehabilitate a shut-in student.
