The anime "SPY x FAMILY" is based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo, currently serialized in "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha). It is a spy action comedy in which master spy Loid Forger disguises himself as a psychiatrist for a top-secret mission, living with his assassin wife Yor Forger (CV: Saori Hayami) and his daughter Anya Forger (CV: Atsumi Tanezaki), a telepath with supernatural abilities, as a "temporary family" while hiding their true identities from each other. The TV anime began airing in 2022, and "SPY x FAMILY CODE: White," released in theaters in December 2023, surpassed 6.32 billion yen in box office revenue.
