Preview cuts and the synopsis for Episode 4, "The Game of Lime and Sincerity", of the TV anime 'Dusk Beyond the End of the World' have been released.
The setting of this work is a future world where AI technology has advanced. The protagonist, Akira (CV: Shuichiro Umeda), who had exchanged vows of love with his beloved partner, Towasa (CV: Ai Kayano), awakens from a long period of cold sleep to find a city devastated by war spread before him. Then, an android named Yugure (CV: Yui Ishikawa), who closely resembles Towasa, appears and presses Akira for marriage. Although bewildered, Akira believes he can reunite with Towasa, who must be alive somewhere in the world, and begins traveling with Yugure. Along the way, the two witness new forms of love in the modern era and contemplate the nature of their own love.
