The original manga, which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) and other publications from 2003 to 2019, recorded a total worldwide circulation (including digital editions) of 73 million copies, and its TV anime, theatrical anime films, and live-action films were all well-received. "GINTAMA - Mr. Ginpachi's Zany Class" is a school comedy set in Class 3-Z of Gintama High School, featuring familiar characters including the homeroom teacher Ginpachi Sakata (CV: Tomokazu Sugita).
