On October 28th, the official 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End' X account posted an image of a bookstand featuring Fern firing the attack magic Zoltrak, the "destructive power" of which is generating a huge response.
'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End' is a hugely popular comic series by Yamada Kanehito and Abe Tsukasa, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday," with the series surpassing 30 million copies in worldwide cumulative circulation. The TV anime's second season is also scheduled to begin broadcasting in January 2026.
The bookstand, the image of which was posted, adopts a unique design where Fern, Frieren's apprentice, supports the book by firing the attack magic Zoltrak. A notable feature is the magic circle that deploys when the spell is activated, serving as the stand base that supports the book.
In addition to the solo Fern design, the stand can also be switched to an illustration featuring young Fern casting Zoltrak while her master, Frieren, stands nearby.
