The TV anime 'Golden Kamuy,' which began airing its first season in 2018, will broadcast its final chapter starting January 2026. Ahead of the broadcast, the theatrical advance version "Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Kōjō-hen," comprising the prologue to the final chapter, has been produced in both [Part 1] and [Part 2], with [Part 2] being released in theaters from October 31st.

In this article, we conducted interviews with the voice actor cast, including Chikahiro Kobayashi, who plays Saichi Sugimoto, and Haruka Shiraishi, who plays Asirpa—the leading duo who have walked together for approximately 8 years—as well as Kentarō Itō as Yoshitake Shiraishi, Jōji Nakata as Toshizō Hijikata, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Private First Class Tokishige Usami, Eiji Takemoto as Sergeant Hajime Tsukishima, Katsuyuki Konishi as 2nd Lieutenant Otonoshin Koito, and Tomokazu Seki as Fusatarō Ōsawa (Pirate Bōtarō). We asked them about the highlights of the TV series so far and the upcoming final chapter from the perspective of the roles they play.

Tomokazu Seki, who plays Fusatarō Ōsawa (Pirate Bōtarō), the newest character to appear in order of the story, commented about Bōtarō: "He works hard to build his own kingdom, and has the desire to become a king whose story will be passed down. While he has a side that doesn't hesitate to commit crimes for that purpose, he is also family-oriented. I hope you'll watch his convictions and feelings, and look forward to seeing whether he can successfully build his kingdom."

Katsuyuki Konishi, who plays 2nd Lieutenant Otonoshin Koito, a key person within the 7th Division camp, says he wants viewers to pay attention to the changes in his character's mindset since his introduction. "He appeared completely devoted to Lieutenant Tokushirō Tsurumi, but as he travels through the Karafuto arc and other journeys, meeting various people and gaining experience, I think he's in the midst of changing as a human being, including his way of thinking about those around him. If you rewatch the previous series leading up to the final chapter, you'll be able to see more deeply how he changes from there on."
