'Chiikawa' is a popular manga created by illustrator Nagano and serialized on X (formerly Twitter) since 2020. It won the Grand Prize at the "Japan Character Award 2022" and the "Japan Character Award 2024," announced in July 2024. The juxtaposition of the tiny, cute characters with the severe worldview has garnered wide popularity among all ages, and its followers have currently surpassed 4.34 million.
A new season of the anime 'Chiikawa' is currently broadcasting within the Fuji TV network's "Mezamashi TV" segment, starting July 15, 2025. Furthermore, an experiential facility, "Chiikawa Park," opened at Ikebukuro Sunshine City Annex on July 28th.
