Voice Actor Toshiyuki Morikawa's "Cutesy Performance" Gets Reactions Like "Where Is He Even Producing That Voice From..." - Episode 5 of Anime "Nohara Hiroshi Hirumeshi no Ryūgi" Features Pancake Scene

Episode 5 of the anime "Nohara Hiroshi Hirumeshi no Ryūgi" has been airing sequentially since October 31st. In a scene where Hiroshi Nohara gets excited over pancakes topped with plenty of whipped cream, the performance by voice actor Toshiyuki Morikawa, who plays Hiroshi, surprised viewers with reactions such as "Where is he even producing that voice from... (bewildered)."

In Episode 5, Hiroshi goes to a pancake shop with his junior colleague from work, Kawaguchi (CV: Takuya Masumoto). Hiroshi seemed uncomfortable in the situation of being two men in a shop full of women, but he apparently snapped out of it with the spirit of "when in Rome, do as the Romans do." He declared, "From now on, we're going to be girls! From now on, you're Gucchi. Call me Hirotan."

True to his declaration, Hiroshi started speaking in a cute (?) high-pitched voice, saying "Hey, hey, Gucchi! I'm excited to see what's coming!" and even struck a pose while saying "I can't wait for the fairy pancakes! Hirotan's tummy is peko-rina♪" At first, Kawaguchi seemed hesitant, but gradually appeared to get caught up in Hiroshi's high tension, and in the end they were feeding each other pancakes with "ah~n," enjoying a giggly, lovey-dovey time.
