The rule was that if they succeeded within five attempts, they would receive "premium matsutake mushrooms." While attempting the challenge with their faces appearing above flip cards, on the fourth attempt when they were about to succeed, Yasumoto stuck his face out from the side, and Kobayashi pointed out, "From the side is not allowed!" and "That's against the rules!"

Yasumoto responded, "Because it seemed like we were about to say it..." and "Something feels off... my contrarian spirit got ignited," to which Kobayashi retorted, "You're not facing the game!
