Giyu Tomioka Character CM Released, Part of 8-Week Consecutive CM Project Using Main Footage from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle Chapter 1

From the currently screening nationwide Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle Chapter 1 - Akaza Returns, the second installment of the character CM project using main footage [Giyu Tomioka] has been released.

This character CM is a special video series running for 8 consecutive weeks using main footage. The second installment, the [Giyu Tomioka] edition, impressively portrays his quiet strength as the Water Hashira and his hidden resolve.

This work is the latest installment in the series, with animation production handled by ufotable, based on the original manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Shueisha Jump Comics) by Koyoharu Gotouge. It depicts the story of a boy, Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, as he fights as a member of the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human. Starting with the 2019 TV anime Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, followed by the Mugen Train Arc, Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc, the theatrical version finally opens the decisive battle at the "Infinity Castle."
