Voice actress Sayuri Date, known for her role as Kanon Shibuya in "Love Live! Superstar!!" and also active as a member of Liella!, released her 2nd photo book "Silhouette" (KADOKAWA) on Thursday, November 6th. A release commemoration event was held at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA in Tokyo, where Date discussed the highlights of the photo book.

When asked about her feelings regarding the release of this long-awaited volume by fans, Date smiled and said, "I'm filled with joy that you can call it 'long-awaited.'" She continued to appeal, "The fact that this is my '2nd' makes me extremely happy, and I truly hope that many people will read it."

Regarding the title of this work, she explained, "When I did my 1st photo book, I was allowed to title it 'Ashiato' myself, and I wanted to create a title that would connect in meaning to that." Furthermore, regarding the title "Ashiato" of her 1st photo book, she revealed, "I wanted to express the path I had walked up until then, or rather, what you see when you look back, so I titled it 'Ashiato.'" She conveyed the feelings behind the title, saying, "(Since the 1st photo book) about three years have passed, and I've been able to experience various things. There were times when I got a little depressed or looked down, but during those times, people who supported me were right in front of me, waiting for me. The silhouettes or figures of those people became a great support for my activities, so I titled it 'Silhouette' with the meaning of 'everyone's figures.'"

The photo shoot took place in Hong Kong and Macau, places she described as "places I had wanted to visit for so long." Her favorite photo is one of her eating ramen at a shop in Hong Kong that had a long line. She smiled as she recalled, "It had such a great atmosphere, and I could see the shop staff cooking up close. It was an open-air shop that you can't really experience in Japan, and the taste was incredibly delicious."
