The anime "SPY x FAMILY" is based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo currently serialized in "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha). It's a spy action comedy where master spy Loid Forger (CV: Takuya Eguchi) disguises himself as a psychiatrist for a top-secret mission and lives with his assassin wife Yor Forger (CV: Saori Hayami) and his daughter Anya Forger, a psychic who can read minds, as a "pretend family" while hiding their true identities from each other. The TV anime has been airing since 2022, and "SPY x FAMILY CODE: White," released in theaters in December 2023, surpassed 6.32 billion yen at the box office.
