Episode 6 of the anime "Nohara Hiroshi Hirumeshi no Ryūgi" began its sequential broadcast on November 7. The episode featured the appearance of Chinese food served in those boxes—a familiar sight (?) in American crime dramas and movies—which quickly became a hot topic online.Comments included, "Do they really have meals in boxes like that?" and "I've always wanted to try eating that."

In Episode 6, Hiroshi Nohara (CV: Toshiyuki Morikawa) and a new employee, Akitake Takagiri (CV: Mahiro Takasugi), stop at a food court while out on sales calls. There, Hiroshi discovers a stall for "American-Style Chinese Food," a concept somewhat unfamiliar to him.

When Takagi spots the square containers the food is served in, he remarks, "Ah, that box! Isn't that what detectives are always eating in Hollywood movies and US dramas?" Hiroshi happily agrees, "Oh yeah, that! I've always wanted to try it." The two then enjoyed dishes like Orange Chicken and Chow Mein, getting excited over their "box talk," wondering things like, "Why do they eat Chinese food out of these boxes in America?"
