The anime Oshi no Ko is based on the smash-hit manga by the duo Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, and has also been adapted into a live-action drama, film, and stage play. The story begins when the gynecologist Gorō (CV: Kent Itō) is reincarnated as the son of his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino—Aqua (CV: Takeo Otsuka). After witnessing Ai's murder firsthand, Aqua ventures into the entertainment industry to uncover the truth and seek revenge. Anime Season 2 has already aired, and Season 3 is scheduled to broadcast starting in January 2026.
