Episode 5 of Season 3 of the anime "One Punch Man" has been airing sequentially since November 9th. The sight of Garō (CV: Hikaru Midorikawa) standing up no matter how many times he's knocked down has excited viewers, who exclaimed, "He's so cool that Garō might as well be the main character!"
In Season 3 Episode 5 "Monster King," Garō confronts Overgrown Pochi (CV: Shin Matsushige), a gigantic monster. He takes a devastating attack at point-blank range, but Garō rises from the rubble.
Afterward, Garō also battles the enormous Monster King Orochi (CV: Atsushi Ono). Despite being pierced through the chest and engulfed in flames, Garō survives and declares, "Watch closely, 'cause I'm gonna turn this around from here."
While the protagonist of "One Punch Man" is the hero Saitama (CV: Makoto Furukawa), it seems many people felt "protagonist-like qualities" in the resilient Garō. Captivated viewers kept appearing, commenting "Garō-san is amazing," "He truly gave the impression of being the protagonist of Season 3," and "He's so cool that Garō might as well be the main character!"
