Mikado, Determined to Believe in His Friend... Anime 'Tougen Anki' Episode 19 Synopsis & Preview Cuts Unveiled

The synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 19 of the anime 'Tougen Anki' have been released.

'Tougen Anki' is based on the popular manga by Yura Urushibara, currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten), with the series having surpassed 4.5 million copies in cumulative circulation. Inspired by the Japanese folktale of "Momotaro" that everyone in Japan knows, it depicts the conflict between those who inherit the blood of Oni and those who inherit the blood of Momotaro.

Shiki Ichinose (CV: Kazuki Ura), a boy who had been living as a normal human, is suddenly attacked one day by a mysterious man belonging to the "Momotaro Organization." While fleeing with his adoptive father, he learns that his pursuers are descendants of the folktale's "Momotaro" and that he himself inherits the blood of an "Oni". This is a story of modern-day descendants of Momotaro and Oni, unlike the tale of the old man and woman from long ago.
