"He's Crossed the Line lol": Anime 'GINTAMA - Mr. Ginpachi's Zany Class' Episode 7 Sees an Unexpected Result After Entrusting the Lotion-Loving Tojo Ayumu with Cleaning

Episode 7 of the anime 'GINTAMA - Mr. Ginpachi's Zany Class', based on a spin-off novel of the highly popular manga 'Gintama', has been broadcasting sequentially since November 17th. Viewers responded with continuous tsukkomi (retorts) like "You've crossed the line, lol" to the bizarre incident that occurred when Ayumu Tojo (CV: Koji Yusa), a character often covered in lotion, was put in charge of waxing the classroom floor.

Episode 7, titled "The Big Cleaning Didn't Progress Because We Were Absorbed in Reading Old Jump Issues", featured the students of Gintama High School's Class 3-Z tackling a major clean-up. Tojo and Kyubee Yagyu (CV: Fumiko Orikasa) were assigned to wax the classroom floor, but when the homeroom teacher, Ginpachi Sakata (CV: Tomokazu Sugita), went to check on them, he found the entire floor covered in pink lotion...

Tojo looked smug, saying, "I poured my spirit into it and made the whole floor sparkling," and "I thought this would be better than wax for enhancing the slipperiness." Ginpachi, in response, gave a perfectly sensible tsukkomi: "First of all, you can't even walk on a floor that slippery!" Tojo confidently stepped into the classroom, saying, "It's fine," but, naturally, he immediately fell over.

This turn of events, characteristic of Tojo (who always carries lotion with him!?), drew laughter from viewers, with comments like "Tojo, you've crossed the line, even for a Gintama character lol," "The floor is pink www," and "That's not wax, that's lotion all over the place!!!"
