In episode 136 of the anime "Chiikawa," Hachiware (CV. Makoto Tanaka) adorably misunderstands "Okashi no Machioka" as "Okashi no Machi 'Oka,'" and the scene depicts Pochette no Yoroi-san (CV. Tomokazu Sugita) following up with kindness.
Hachiware invited Chiikawa (CV. Haruka Aoki) to go to "Okashi no Machioka." While eating snacks purchased in front of the store, Rōdō no Yoroi-san (CV. Hiroki Tōchi) and Pochette no Yoroi-san arrive.
Hachiware tells the two that he's eating snacks bought at "Okashi no Machi 'Oka.'" After Pochette no Yoroi-san mutters, "In a sense, it is a town of sweets... isn't it...?", he makes a retort, saying "It's 'Machioka,' correctly speaking." As if to follow up on Hachiware, who shows a shy smile saying "Eh-heh... I got it wrong...," Pochette no Yoroi-san declares, "No... in a sense, it IS an 'Okashi no Machi'!!"
