The anime "SPY x FAMILY" is based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo, which is currently serialized in "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha). It's a spy action comedy about master spy Loid Forger (CV: Takuya Eguchi), who disguises himself as a psychiatrist for a top-secret mission, living as a "temporary family" with his assassin wife Yor Forger (CV: Saori Hayami) and his daughter Anya Forger, a telepath with supernatural abilities to read minds, while each hides their true identity from the others. The TV anime has been airing since 2022, and "SPY x FAMILY CODE: White," released in theaters in December 2023, surpassed 6.32 billion yen at the box office.
