TV Anime "Saga of Tanya the Evil II" Confirmed for 2026 Broadcast! Tanya Plays a Burning Piano... Teaser Visual & PV Unveiled

The broadcast period for "Saga of Tanya the Evil II," the second season of the TV anime "Saga of Tanya the Evil," has been confirmed for 2026. Along with this announcement, a new teaser visual and teaser PV have been released.

"Saga of Tanya the Evil" is an isekai work that depicts a rationalist elite salaryman who is reincarnated in another world as a young girl, Tanya Degurechaff (CV. Aoi Yūki), and rises through the battlefield as an imperial mage officer. The series has surpassed 10 million copies in total circulation, and following the first season's TV anime broadcast in 2017 and the theatrical film release in 2019, production of the second season is now underway.

The newly released teaser visual depicts "Tanya playing a burning piano." Additionally, the teaser PV opens with what resembles propaganda footage celebrating the Empire's victory, followed by flashbacks by "Being X," and then shows Tanya struggling to resist it.

Coinciding with the information reveal, surprise projects were also carried out at GiGO Vision Ikebukuro in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, including the simultaneous unveiling of the PV and guerrilla distribution of the "War Status Report Newspaper."

Takayuki Yamamoto has newly assumed the position of director for the second season. He has commented, "It is a great honor to be involved with the work called Saga of Tanya the Evil. We are diligently advancing production with our wonderful staff, so please wait just a little longer!"
