The anime "One Punch Man" is based on the hugely popular manga by original creator ONE and manga artist Yusuke Murata, which has surpassed 35 million copies in cumulative circulation. It depicts the daily life of the calm and strongest hero Saitama (CV: Makoto Furukawa), who defeats any enemy with "one punch," as well as the exploits of heroes fighting monsters. The TV anime's first season aired in 2015, and the second season in 2019.
