The ingredient selection for the hot pot proceeded with a project titled "Create Your Ideal Hot Pot! Ingredient Draft Conference." In a three-way battle between Shimono, Irino, and the Tuesday staff, they nominated ingredients they wanted from a prepared ingredient list in draft format, nominating and acquiring ingredients through the seventh round of desired ingredients, including the hot pot broth.

Following rules just like an actual draft conference, if there was competition, they drew lots, and the one who missed out would designate a different ingredient. The list included ingredients that are "typical hot pot ingredients," and from those collected from viewers in advance, "salmon" was selected.

In the second round of selecting main ingredients, Shimono, who thought about combinations with the broth, saying "I thought chicken would go well with shellfish dashi~," acquired chicken breast.
