Pikyun! "You Are Already Dead" – This "Fist of the North Star" Catchphrase That Became a Buzzword Was Actually Only Used Once in the Manga

Even if you've never watched the anime "Fist of the North Star," you probably know the famous line "You are already dead." However, this surprising fact is not widely known. In the original manga, the protagonist Kenshirō (CV: Akira Kamiya) actually says this line only once!

The story is set in 199X, in a world where civilized society has vanished and violence reigns supreme. Even in such a survival-of-the-fittest era, Kenshirō, a practitioner of the assassination art "Hokuto Shinken" passed down through a single successor, continues to save the weak. In the first episode of the anime "Fist of the North Star," he rescued a young girl named Lin (CV: Tomiko Suzuki) who had lost her voice due to the shock of her family being killed.

When a villain who had taken Lin hostage said "I'll crush this brat" and began applying force, Kenshirō fiercely struck the opponent's pressure points with his "Atatatatata!"
