We conducted an interview with Deshi-san, who participated in the 'Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2025,' held from October 24th to 26th, 2025, cosplaying as Shikinami Asuka Langley: WILLE from the Evangelion × Goddess of Victory: NIKKE collaboration. In addition to publishing photos of Deshi, we asked about the points she aimed to express with the costume and what cosplays she would like to try in the future.
——What was the motivation behind your decision to cosplay as Shikinami Asuka Langley: WILLE from the Evangelion×Goddess of Victory: NIKKE collaboration this time?
Deshi：It was because this was a collaboration between two of my favorite franchises. I was captivated by the elaborate and glamorous costume that retained Asuka's image while incorporating the characteristic style of NIKKE.
——What were the specific points you focused on and the efforts you put into this cosplay?
Deshi：The character actually carries a violin, but I brought the Spear of Cassius to emphasize the Evangelion aesthetic. I was also conscious of balancing Asuka's gallantry and NIKKE's glamour in the expression.
